TOGETHER AGAIN!!!

So while Ben is gone doing camps most of the summer we have been traveling back and forth up there to hang out...and so I can get a hand with the kids!

BEN IS TWO!

We were up in Lexington Virginia last week so ben had a little birthday celebration there. It was not a huge extravaganza just got a delicious ice cream cake from DQ that Ben tore into and had some old friends come over. It was a great time especially because there was no stress involved! Ben even got to see Marmie and Chappie because they stopped in and stayed the night on their move to Kentucky.

I have a lot to look forward to with the terrible two's, so far Ben has tried to flush clothes down the toilet, climbs the fridge now that I have had to put a lock on it, tries to dive head first into the pool and takes every toy away from poor little Connor! Bless Him!

CONNOR 6 MONTH UPDATE

WEIGHT ---19.2

LENGTH --- 25 1/2 inches

The visit went well. The doctor says he is doing great.


Connor can now sit up on his own, he also can get up on all fours. Lately he has been rocking back and forth when he is up there so he is getting pretty close to crawling. He has a huge appetite and is a great eater. Look out when he see's a bottle because he is going for it and nothing will get in his way!  Speaking of bottles, sadly I am no longer nursing. I stopped at 5 months because my new job is to insane and stressful and you just cannot get away to do it. Needless to say, I dried up like in 1 day. Thankfully it was an easy adjustment for Connor too...actually he is less constipated on formula-wierd.


He loves to laugh and watch his brother. He is the most chill and relaxed child. Complete polar opposite from his Big Brother ... I'm glad to have the balance :) 

It is also pretty obvious who Connor is going to look like...Grandaddy Ben Sr. !, with a little Will Freakley in him too. Marmis is excited because as she says "I get to see my husband as a baby and grow up!!!!"

6 MONTHS OLD!

This picture pretty much sums up his demeanor. He is the happiest kid. He was the easiest too but he has not been sleeping how he used to. But I blame that on his cough and congestion that he has had for over a month now and nw he is just in the habit of waking up...a habit that is sooo hard to break!

6 month appointment on Friday, we will be sure to post the results.

SAM'S GRADUATION!

It was a Big weekend for the Freakley Family. In addition to the graduation, Stuart and Katie brought the first baby girl into the family! Welcome little Anna Kate Freakley! We cannot wait to meet her! And if that was not enough, another girl was added to the family when Sam proposed to Melissa, his high school sweetheart, and she said Yes!

It was a long weekend for us. We left the boys with a sitter part time and my mom the other half. We missed them sooo much!

MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND

Now that I have 2 wonderful children I see why people make such a big deal about Mother's Day!














My mom always made being a mom look so easy, it just came naturally to her...now I realize it is because she is good at it. Which in turn makes me see that I have work to do!

My sister Carmen came down with her husband Greg, my mom and my sister's best friend and her mom all came down to do some "wedding" planning. --My sister and Greg had a civil marriage last year before he deployed for Iraq, and now the real wedding is coming quickly (July 31) we all got together for some wedding planning fun-ness.
